I believe that in the age of AI, people matter more than ever.
For five years I've been rolling out CRM and ERP systems, and since 2024 AI tools too, and I keep seeing the same thing. The system works, but people find ways around it and drift back to Excel. The tool is rarely the problem. Usually nobody asked the people who'd be using it.
On an ERP rollout at a 300-person company, we migrated 600–800k rows of HR and finance data without critical loss and finished 1.5–2 months ahead of schedule. What made it work, though, was 9–10 training sessions and key people in every department. In the end, 90% of staff started using the system.
I bring the same approach to AI. During 2.5 years in the pharmaceutical industry, I launched an AI agent for Jira as Product Owner. Managers brief it in plain language, and 10–15 people used it in the pilot. Code handles the simple commands and AI only does the analysis, which cut AI costs by 87%. The AI never made up data when writing to Jira. I build automations in n8n and Make, AI agents and assistants that answer questions from your own documents, and I help teams set up Claude.
Today I help agencies, companies and sole traders automate routine work without layoffs, using my own Calm Ops method. I listen to the team first, automate what they themselves call routine, train people and report the results in hours saved.
